Camping Cala Gogo Internacional is a lively medium-sized, terraced campsite on the beautiful coast of the Costa Brava in Spain. Camping Cala Gogo is located directly on the sandy beach and close to the famous resort of Playa d'Aro. Moreover, all the facilities of Camping Internacional de Calonge are at your disposal. This used to be a separate campsite, but nowadays Cala Gogo Internacional and Internacional de Calonge form a joint campsite.

 

Water recreation camping Cala Gogo Internacional

At Camping Cala Gogo Internacional you will find 6 swimming pools, 3 of which are heated by solar energy in low season. This guarantees swimming fun every day. There are 5 slides and several activities are organized for adult children. Of course, you can also enjoy the sun on the 100-meter-long sandy beach and the many hidden coves nearby. These coves are connected by landscaped walkways over the rocks, highly recommended! By the sea there are also several facilities and you can choose to go diving,snorkeling and windsurfing. The beach is directly accessible from the campsite and can be reached on foot. There is also a little train available that shuttles between the pools and the beach. 

 

Facilities campsite Cala Gogo Internacional

At Camping Cala Gogo Internacional you can also enjoy sports. You can enjoy yourself on the sports field where you can play basketball and soccer. Camping Cala Gogo International also has a tennis court and table tennis tables. For the little ones, there is a mini club where young children can have a great time. Camping Cala Gogo has a supermarket with a wide selection including fresh fruit and vegetables and a bakery for delicious fresh bread. The beach bar serves delicious dishes, from typical Spanish tapas or paëlla to pizza and other snacks, but you can also go there for a delicious cocktail. Guests of Cala Gogo Internacional can also use the facilities of the adjacent campsite Internacional de Calonge.

 

The surrounding area of camping Cala Gogo Internacional

The surroundings of Camping Cala Gogo Internacional offer many opportunities for day trips. Boat trips, the Dali museum and historic, picturesque villages such as Pals and Begur are a short distance from the campsite. The lively port of Palamos, the famous seaside resort Playa d'Aro or the beautiful city of Girona are also worth a visit. Here you can enjoy a terrace, eat delicious tapas in one of the many restaurants and do some extensive shopping. Aquadiver water park is 2 kilometers from Camping Cala Gogo Internacional and there is a free bus service from the campsite.

 

Please note: This campsite is idyllically situated on a hill and is NOT recommended for people with reduced mobility. Due to the hillside location, parking near the accodmation is not always possbile. Guests may need to park a bit further from their accommodations and walk.
Guests of Cala Gogo and Internacional de Calonge have access to all facilities in both parks. There is pedestrian access between the parks, and a “Gua Gua” (mini train) also connects the two. During the high season (July & August), the train runs more frequently—please see the schedule at the main reception. There is pedestrian access between parcs and also a “Gua Gua” (mini train) linking the parcs.
Campsite Cala Gogo and Campsite Internacional de Calonge previously were two separate campsites, but they are now one campsite: Cala Gogo Internacional. Accommodations can be located on either campsite. In most cases, you will hear upon arrival in which part you are allocated. Some accommodations have either ‘Cala Gogo’ or ‘Internacional’ in their name, indicating in which part of the campsite that accommodation type is located.
