Visit Skagen

You can go to the tip of Denmark with the Sandormen. It will take you to Grenen, where the Kattegat and Skagerrak meet. At this northernmost point of Denmark you will experience the beautiful open landscape. From Råbjerg Mile you have a panoramic view of the whole picturesque area, where the sand dunes curve towards the sea. The cozy and charming town of Skagen also offers many fun activities, such as Dino golf, soccer golf and bunker scavenger hunts. You can also enjoy fine dining there, for example at restaurants such as HÅKON or Holger. Of course, there are also many fish restaurants, and you can also enjoy classic Danish dishes like smørrebrød and tartelettes.

Fårup Sommerland

Fårup Sommerland is a hit for the whole family. Near Blokhus is this large amusement park, which has both cool rides and a large water park. Denmark's largest water park, Aquaparken, has many pools, both indoor and outdoor, and many slides. There are also plenty of roller coasters in the park; for example, experience the Hurricane, which goes both above and below water, or the Phoenix, Denmark's largest roller coaster.

The capital of North Jutland, Aalborg, is sure to delight shopping and art lovers. The cozy city is characterized by street art, and a visit to Arts - Modern Art Museum is a must for art lovers. Also visit the Utzon Centre and Kunsthal NORD. If you want to store, visit City Syd, where you will find the Aalborg Storcenter shopping center. The city center is home to more specialty stores and large department stores. If you want to do something fun with the whole family, Aalborg Zoo is a must.

In Hirtshals, you can visit the sunfish or watch seals being fed at the North Sea Oceanium, Northern Europe's largest aquarium. Hikers will find some great trails near Grenen, where you will pass the Gray Lighthouse and the Tilsandede Kirke (the silted-up church). From Langagergaard you can also explore the area on horseback, but if you are more into cycling, the routes along the Limfjord are recommended. In the Kattegat there are also opportunities for all kinds of water sports activities - both for advanced and beginners.
