The largest lake in Italy, peaceful Lake Garda, is fringed by stunning alpine peaks, making an ideal camping holiday destination. Situated in the region’s heartland, both Venice and Milan are within striking distance of the fantastic campsites we offer. Along with miles of pristine shoreline, there are many fascinating medieval villages to explore, each with a unique character. Life is calmer here, more relaxed - why not watch it unfold from a picturesque vantage point like the 13th Century Castello Scaligero?

Beautiful Beaches on Lake Garda

Staying at one of our top campsites, allows you to set the pace. Sailing on the lake is a favoured pastime, but if you’d prefer to take it easy, just sit with a spritz and soak up the sun in the more secluded Bay of Sirens, where the scenery will take your breath away. The resort of Lazise boasts powder soft sands, but it is the clear waters off Santa Maria beach which are most popular with families.

Culture and Cuisine near Lake Garda

Learn more about the region and admire the local architecture at historic Isola del Garda, which can be reached on a short boat trip. You can enjoy a quiet stroll through the island’s fragrant gardens or visit the neo-gothic Villa Borghese Cavazza. When you need a snack, there are many bars, gelato stands and pizzerias providing delicious refreshments in minutes. Though if you’d prefer authentic Garda cuisine on your luxury camping break, head for a more traditional eatery on the Riva del Garda, where seafood, mountain ham, and truffles make up the seasonal menu.
