Camping Wedderbergen

Camping Wedderbergen is a real paradise for all water lovers. The highlight is Watervallei – a unique, 4,300 m² outdoor water play area where children can splash about, climb on play towers and explore the green islands and babbling brooks for hours on end. Outdoors, you’ll also find a fantastic pool area with a colourful water splash playground and water slides. If the weather’s not playing ball, the water fun simply moves indoors to the large, heated indoor pool, which features a fun water slide and a shallow play area for the little ones.

Camping Wedderbergen is an incredibly child-friendly campsite offering all the facilities you need for a relaxing and hassle-free family holiday. As well as outdoor play areas, the campsite also features a large indoor play hall, laser tag and an energetic entertainment team to keep the children entertained during the school holidays. You can easily satisfy your hunger at the campsite’s restaurant, with quick snacks and ice cream from the kiosk, or over a cool drink on the cosy terrace, whilst bike hire makes it easy to get around.

The campsite is beautifully situated in the scenic Westerwolde area in the province of Groningen, which offers a wealth of activities for the whole family. You can immerse yourselves in the local culture by visiting the famous historic fortified town of Bourtange or taking a walk at Burcht in Wedde. The area is also ideal for walking and cycling through woods, heathland and along babbling brooks. If you’d like to get out on the water, lakes and waterways such as Blauwestad, Oldambtmeer and Ruiten Aa are right nearby, and there are plenty of opportunities for pleasant trips into town to Winschoten and the city of Groningen.
