In the middle of the beautiful natural park of the Upper Sûre is the Ecolabel-certified campsite Liefrange campsite. With Luxembourg's largest reservoir just a kilometre away, your children can have fun swimming and water sports while you enjoy the tranquillity and nature around you.

Swimming facilities at Camping Liefrange

At Camping Liefrange, everything is about water fun. The nearby reservoir is a paradise for swimmers and water sports enthusiasts. The crystal-clear water invites you to take a refreshing dip, while little ones can splash around safely in the shallow end. You can also rent kayaks and stand-up paddleboards for an adventurous day on the water. For those who prefer to stay on dry land, there are plenty of lovely spots along the shore to relax and enjoy the view. 

Facilities at Campsite Liefrange

Directly in front of the door are some beautiful hiking trails, and fun mountain bike routes and there are extensive water sports opportunities on the Upper Sûre reservoir -  so an ideal place for nature lovers, peace seekers and active holidaymakers. There is a daily bread service and in season you can rent canoes and SUPs on-site. You will also find a snack bar at the campsite, a herb garden where you can pick your herbs, a mini library and a small supermarket.

The area around Camping Liefrange is a true paradise for nature lovers and adventurers. Explore the numerous hiking and biking trails that start right from the campsite and discover the Luxembourg Ardennes at your own pace. Visit the impressive castles nearby, such as Château de Bourscheid, or take a trip to one of the picturesque villages. The reservoir offers not only swimming opportunities but also opportunities for boating and fishing.

I wouldn’t return to this particular place
I don’t think it makes it clear that you have to walk up and down hill to get to make, you definitely coukd not carry paddle boards.
