Le Pianacce Camping Village is set in a quiet location, on the sloping hills of Tuscany with the sandy beach of van Marina di Castagneto just a short distance away. Families with children can especially look forward to an entertainment program which has a variety of fun activities that will occupy them for hours.

You can totally relax by the lovely campsite pool, which has fantastic children’s pool with a slide! In 2015 Pianacce will have a fantastic new children’s pool, ‘The Spray Park’.  Your children will enjoy endless hours of fun on the slides and in the water play area!

For those sporty people amongst you, there are plenty of facilities to keep you entertained, such as mini golf. You can rent mountain bikes on site and take advantage of the beautiful bicycle rides available in this unique part of Tuscany. The campsite restaurant and other restaurants in the area serve fabulous Tuscan food for you to enjoy.  

Camping Le Pianacce has different levels for accommodation on the campsite and has 50 different types of tree. It is a mini Tuscany!

The campsite is a true oasis of peace and tranquility. Located on the side of the adjacent village of Castagneto Carducci offers a truly nature experience as it is immersed in the forest of pines,lecco and other essences of the Mediterranean scrub. Our accommodation was opposite the pools and restaurant but still a 10 Min walk, easy walk downhill but difficult on the way back because it is all uphill especially with strollers but still doable. Alternatively there is the shuttle but that runs until 6,I think because of the low season, otherwise to go out in the evening one is forced to walk it all the time. Accommodation nice and functional although a bit dated but in very good condition. Parking lots adjacent to the lodging. Cleanliness not top notch but we had not chosen the package with cleaning included so it might fit. Animation a little lacking because of the low season. Pools nice but enjoyable when it is really hot because the children's pools turn out cold while the large pool is heated. Overall value for money excellent.
