The south-side of Lago Maggiore is flatter than the northern part and it is a good base to visit several lovely cities and outlet stores in the area. Village Lago Maggiore is a lively campsite with many facilities for all ages.

The swimming pool complex on Camping Villaggio Lago Maggiore is great fun for the whole family. By the pool there is a large grass field to spend the day relaxing in the sun. In addition to the wonderful pool complex the campsite has direct access to the wonderfully clear water of Lake Lago Maggiore itself.

In the beautiful area surrounding Camping Village Lago Maggiore there are several wonderful sights and activities. Nearby there are villas, castles and gardens to explore and you can quickly be in the lively Arona. In Stresa a ferry departs for the Borromeo-islands, which are spectacular if you want to do some sightseeing and are well worth a visit. If you and your children want to explore by foot then take the funicular to Mottarone you can walk along the paths to Stresa and enjoy the breath-taking views. You can also sail the whole lake with the Lago Maggiore Express or visit Milan for a day.

The accommodation was very worn and did not match the pictures shown on the website of the site at all. We are surprised that it has not been “possible” to take pictures of the mobile home now that they were 12
Noise from nearby road to public beach
The edge of the table in the living room was wrapped in packing tape.
Very child-friendly place with daily activities for all ages - from water aerobics to children's disco and entertainment. It is very cool on the site as there are many trees that provide shade. Good location in relation to Lake Maggiore and close to shopping. Unfortunately there is some noise from the nearby road at the public beach, garbage collection and many cars. The pool area is fine with lifeguards and manning of the water slides. Unfortunately there are not many sun loungers but there is a smaller green area by the pool where it was possible to be. The accommodation was ok but very worn and did not match the pictures.
