We had a great spot with plenty of space and shade. It's a lovely little campsite, but it offers everything you need. The staff is very friendly. There's a grocery store nearby. There's a lovely lawn belonging to the campsite, but the path to the water is very rocky. The town and surrounding area aren't really suitable for cycling, as there are hardly any bike paths. Three kilometers away is the beautiful, typically Italian town of Arona, with many restaurants and attractions. Dormelletto itself is rather unprepossessing.
