Camping Mare Pineta Paestum does not have a swimming pool, but that is really not necessary at all. In fact, the absolute showpiece of Mare Pineta is its private beach. A shady path through the pine forest takes you within minutes to stand with your feet in the warm sand, where the sea only slowly deepens. Ideal for children. Sailing and surfing are very well possible here, at the campsite; they can tell you exactly where you can rent the necessary equipment for this. Do you like spearfishing? Then this is the place for you. If you prefer sports, you can play beach volleyball. The Dutch against the Italians!

The campsite's location is truly unique, directly in the historic region of Cilento. Just a few minutes away, you will find the impressive Greek temples of Paestum. It is magical to wander around here and almost be able to touch the history. For a fun afternoon out, the nearby villages of Agropoli and Castellabate are absolute must-sees. Stroll through the narrow streets and enjoy an ice cream on a terrace overlooking the sea. Want to really surprise the kids? Then visit a local buffalo farm nearby. Here, they can see the animals up close, and you can taste the world-famous, silky buffalo mozzarella fresher than fresh. With the Cilento National Park just around the corner, there is no shortage of beautiful nature and culture.
