Sun Beach Camping Village

For a refreshing dip, you can easily choose between the swimming pool and the sea at this campsite. The outdoor swimming pool is simply designed and has a separate shallow end where the little ones can splash about safely. Sun loungers and parasols are provided around the pool, so you can keep an eye on the children whilst you relax. Do you prefer salt water? The campsite is situated right on the coast. The beach here consists mainly of pebbles, so water shoes for the whole family are highly recommended. The children will have a great time searching for smooth stones and paddling in the clear water.

On the well-organised grounds, children quickly find their own way to have fun. There is a playground with colourful play equipment and a sports pitch where young people can play football or tennis. In high season, the entertainment team provides daily activities with fun games, sports tournaments and a lively mini-disco in the early evening. Your convenience has also been taken care of, as you certainly don’t need to cook every day whilst on holiday. In the campsite restaurant, you can tuck into fresh pizzas and local fish dishes. For crusty rolls in the morning and your daily shopping, simply pop into the campsite shop.

The campsite is situated on the Costa dei Trabocchi, famous for its wooden fishing platforms jutting out over the waves. Rent a few bikes with the whole family and explore the Via Verde, a flat cycle path along a former railway line with views over the water. For a good dose of action, take the children to the nearby Aqualand del Vasto, a large water park with slides, about a twenty-minute drive away. Be sure to visit the historic town of Vasto, where you can stroll through its charming streets and round off the day with a proper Italian ice cream in the main square.
