Camping Füred is located on the north side of Lake Balaton and is the largest campsite in Hungary. A holiday at this campsite means lots of entertainment for young and old! This beautiful and large campsite is located directly on the beautiful beach of Lake Balaton.

 

Water Recreation Camping Füred

The campsite is located directly on the beautiful Lake Balaton, where you and your children can enjoy a beautiful, large beach and plenty of water sports opportunities. At the campsite you will find a large adventure pool with a pool for adults (swimming cap required), a paddling pool with a slide for the little ones, a sauna and a children's bathroom. Opposite the campsite is the Aquapark Annagora, an experience for the whole family. This park was built using the latest technology and is an environmentally friendly tourist attraction.

 

Facilities Camping Füred

Sports facilities are plentiful for young and old: tennis courts, volleyball, soccer, table tennis, surfing, pedal boats or fishing. The animation team provides changing shows, theater, kids club, various sports classes etc. throughout the day and evening. Unique is the 1200m long water ski track where you are pulled through the water by a cable. There is an excellent restaurant on the beach, and just outside the campground, there is a supermarket and 2 small stores.

 

Near Camping Füred

From the local harbour, you can take a tour of Lake Balaton. A bicycle path runs along Lake Balaton, so you can get to know the surroundings very well. About 150 km away is the capital, Budapest, definitely worth a visit!

Disappointing with upset kids so moved resort.
Location was nice.
Lake was beautiful
Went for UK May Whitsun holiday w/c 29th May. Hungarian season starts mid June and all facilities on site were closed apart from limted opening in retaurant
Pretty much all the off site attractions for kids were closed too.

Site was pleasant, accommodation was ok but as low season there was lots of building works going on both in and around the site. Kids were disappointed so spent the first full day of holiday searching and looking for alternative accommodation and moved the following day. We moved to Siofek on the other side of the lake which was a little bit busier but absolutely beautiful. I would return to Lake Balaton as it was beautiful and lots for kids to do in the but in the summer holidays.
