The surroundings of this campsite are very interesting. The campsite is located directly on the North Sea. This makes it ideal for mudflat hiking. The ferry takes you to Wilhelmshaven, where there is plenty to do. Want to visit an aquarium, the theatre, or the Deutsches Marinemuseum? Or do you prefer shopping in the Nordseepassage? It's up to you. From here, you can also go to the northern island of Helgoland.
