L'Abri des pins

Water sports enthusiasts head to the centre of Saint-Jean-de-Monts for kayaking, supping or kitesurfing. For an educational én fun outing, drive 15 minutes to the Écomusée du Daviaud, where the history of the marshland comes to life with farm animals, salt pans and bird-watching spots. Something a little more adventurous? Nearby is Explora Parc, where children (and parents!) have fun on climbing courses or participate in a laser game among the trees. A boat trip to the charming island of Île d’Yeu is also a must: narrow streets, rugged cliffs and quiet beaches await your visit there. End a holiday day with a stroll through the local market in Saint-Jean-de-Monts and fill your bag with regional delicacies for a picnic under the stars.
