Europ' Camping

On hot days, the heated outdoor pool is a wonderful place to cool off while keeping a close eye on everything from the edge. For little ones, there is a separate toddler area where they can safely splash and practice “look, mom!” Without slides, but just nice and relaxed, so swimming doesn't become a stressful moment. And do you want something other than chlorine and bath towels? In the area, you will also find swimming water in nature, ideal for a picnic with wet feet and an ice cream as a reward.

Here it's all about simple happiness: a playground where new holiday friendships develop, sports courts for an impromptu game of volleyball and table tennis for that fun family tournament. In summer, there are themed evenings, just enough to spend an evening laughing and then walk back to your accommodation satisfied. The restaurant serves local flavours; one of those is when you suddenly realise you haven't cooked in two days. For bread, small groceries and that one pack of cookies that “accidentally” ends up in the basket, there is also a store.  

Europ’Camping is just minutes from Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, a beautiful village with kid-friendly streets for strolling and plenty of spots for a lemonade on the terrace. For a day full of nature, the Gorges de Kakuetta are impressive, with waterfalls and high cliffs that even adolescents will be quiet for a moment. Also fun: take the little train up to La Rhune for views that will stay with you for a long time. And then there are those typical Basque villages like Espelette, where red peppers hang from facades like it's a party. Fancy the sea? The Atlantic coast with Biarritz and Saint-Jean-de-Luz is good to go for a day at the beach, scoop net along, feet in the sand.
