Had 2 wonderful (beach) weeks, the location of the campsite is ideal. 15 min walk to the sea/(lively) village. Nice, varied animation program but unfortunately only in French. The pool is nicely laid out with plenty of sunbeds. Indoor swimming pool (roof that can be slid open) so you don't have to swim in full sun, nice slides (less challenging for teenagers), large outdoor pool that gradually became deeper and a fun water play area for the little ones. Many sunbeds available. Do miss a good shower at the pool and should have been more shaded areas around the pool. When we were there it was also extremely hot (44 degrees) so you miss the umbrellas extra. Sun, sea, sand, dunes and forests and beautiful sunsets, Mimizan Plage exudes a relaxed atmosphere.

Having 2 children of 9 years old the campsite is ideal for them. I found all of the staff welcoming and professional. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with my experience at the Mimizan beach campsite.
