Then there is also karaoke, cinema, bingo, or other entertainment. Relax with a book in the lounge/library, take a seat in the bistro, and make use of the morning bread service.

Nature beckons! Walking or cycling during this camping holiday is almost a must because apart from breathtaking views you can spot chamois, ibex, and all kinds of birds of prey. Especially if you climb to the top of Mont Granier. So pack binoculars. City splendors like the Bastille of colourful Grenoble, the Jet d'eau fountain of cosmopolitan Geneva, and Notre-Dame de Fourvière of surprising Lyon, you will pick them all up. Nearby Chambéry with its Musée des Charmettes is also a must, as is a wine tour. Treat the kids to a day at Walibi Rhône-Alpes or a day at the zoo in Le Domaine des Fauves.
