We stayed here overnight on our way to and from Germany and Spain. You can choose your own pitch, so everyone can find a spot that suits them. Arrival and departure are possible outside office hours; in that case, you’ll receive the code by email. The ladies at reception were very friendly. We’d pre-ordered croissants and a baguette the day before – they were really fresh and tasty. Unfortunately, there were an awful lot of insects, so we had to bin our leftover dinner because it was swarming with them. We then took refuge in the caravan, which, despite having insect screens, was also full of insects. Our pitch was right by the river – perhaps that was the problem.

We stayed here whilst travelling through to the southern part of France. An ideal campsite just outside Lyon, beautifully situated on the banks of the Saône. The staff were very friendly and helpful; we were able to order bread straight away for the following morning. We had a 6-person mobile home which was very spacious and had a very practical layout.
