Camping Clos du Pin

This campsite in Le Grand-Bornand, a charming hillside village, is situated right by a river where there are plenty of water-based activities. Rafting, canoeing, swimming – you can do it all here, and around every bend there’s another breathtaking view waiting for you. You can just as easily spend an afternoon relaxing on the riverbank. There’s a public swimming pool in the nearby village.

Enjoy an active camping holiday in this spectacular landscape. Canyoning, via ferrata and mountain biking are popular here, as are hikes on foot. The campsite also offers a range of sports facilities: from golf to horse riding and from archery to table football. There’s a large playground for the youngest holidaymakers, complete with a bouncy castle and trampolines. Take a seat on the terrace – which, once again, offers a stunning view – for a crispy pizza, because all that activity is sure to work up an appetite!

The wildlife in the Alps is exceptional: spot ibex, wild marmots and birds of prey such as the golden eagle and the bearded vulture. The wealth of outdoor activities doesn’t mean, however, that there aren’t any lovely towns nearby. Stroll through picturesque Annecy, visit charming Thônes or take an hour’s drive to Geneva, where a blend of ancient and ultra-modern attractions, alongside countless shops, awaits you – not to mention the famous lake. There are also plenty of adventure parks in the area where young and old alike can let off steam.
