Camping Les Gorges du Chambon is a charming campsite, just north of the Dordogne. Nature is close by, peace and space are keywords on this campsite. An ideal place for families with young children, who can enjoy themselves here.
Water recreation campsite Les Gorges du Chambon

Recently the pool has been renovated, so you now have a well-cared-for pool at your disposal. For the little ones, there is a separate large paddling pool. For hygiene reasons, Bermuda shorts and long clothes are not allowed when swimming. The Tardoire river runs alongside the campsite. Here you can relax on the beach or paddle on the river in a canoe.

Other facilities available at this campsite include tennis, mini-golf and a playground and sports field. There is something for everyone. In high season there is a kids club for children between 3-10 years. Older children can have fun on the sports ground or the climbingwall. Other nice places to hang out are the beach near the river and the table tennis tables. A holiday in the Dordogne is not complete without a day of canoeing. This is possible starting from the campsite. The next day you can relax during a yoga class. The little ones can go pony riding in high season.

Breathtaking site surrounded by beauty
Lovely pool and slides
Got upgraded as an error was made on their part
We only stayed two nights
We arrived expecting a safari tent and we're told die to a mixup we would be upgraded to a caravan. Lovely space to live in for two nights. We were blown away by the place, it really is a jem and the views in the evening from outside the bar were stunning as the sun set. Everyone was really helpful and friendly.
