Camping Homair La Grande Métairie is situated close to the Brittany coast, in a wooded area. It is a paradise for nature lovers, hikers, and cyclists. But it is certainly a paradise for children, they will have a wonderful time in the swimming pools, at the inline skate course, or at the pony rides once a week.

Water recreation on camping Homair La Grande Métairie

Your children will love the playfully designed swimming pool with its palm trees and water chutes! The heated and roof topped swimming pool with separate children’s pool and whirlpool are nice, which your family will enjoy. The beach is located 3 kilometres away from the campsite. This is a wide sandy beach with beautiful rocks on the background.

Facilities on camping Homair La Grande Métairie

The animation team of camping Homair La Grande Métairie organises sportive activities, like water polo and aqua gym. Every week there is a circus school at the campsite, where your little clowns can learn nice tricks. Your children can go to the inline skate course, or swing through the treetops as a monkey in the adventure park.

Camping Homair La Grande Métairie has a nice restaurant with fine cuisine, where you will have a wonderful view across the swimming pool. There are also multiple bars where you can get a drink. Teenagers meet in the beach bar, where they hang out and dance.

For the 2024 season, an acro games playground has been installed:

I’d give it a 6 out of 10, unlikely to revisit.
Lots to do on site, felt safe for my children.
Lots of free activities
Snack bar served excellent pizza
Accommodation wasn’t very clean
Nothing provided in terms of toilet roll, hand wash, towels bedding, all had to be paid for on top of accommodation prices
Swimming pool not open until 10am and usually no one opens until 10.15am, pool is shallow and no floats allowed on main pool, my older children were quite bored around the pool area

The location was nice, very quiet on accommodation, accommodation was very small, had to get dressed on the bed, accommodation was very dirty, clean included doesn’t included cleaning of the kitchen , stripping beds or taking out rubbish, the £62 for the clean didn’t feel worth it when we had to do half of it ourselves. Pillows plastic and awful, had a power cut whilst there, had to walk 10 minutes to reception to get someone to check it over, no phone facility. No wifi or phone service. Overall we enjoyed the location and there was lots to do, but more so for younger children.
