Camping L'Ardéchois - Vallon-Pont-d'Arc

At this campsite, you can enjoy plenty of water-based fun and relaxation. The heated swimming pool complex features two large outdoor pools, a separate children’s pool and a jacuzzi. Surrounded by palm trees, it’s the perfect spot for a lovely swim and some relaxation. You can also walk straight down to the river beach on the Ardèche. The shallow, gently flowing water is ideal for children to play in and cool off. Fancy an adventure? At the water sports centre on the campsite, you can hire a canoe or kayak for a trip through the famous Ardèche Gorge.

There’s plenty to do for young and old alike in the spacious park. Children can climb and play at Castelas Castle or have fun at the LudoParc. Sports enthusiasts can play padel, tennis or beach volleyball, or work out outdoors. You can also take part in yoga and various other activities during the day. After an active day, enjoy regional dishes on the restaurant’s terrace. In the evening, shows and live concerts add to the festive atmosphere. For fresh bread rolls, small groceries and beach essentials, pop into the supermarket. Fancy a bit of peace and quiet? Relax in a hammock in the shade or, for a fee, visit the wellness centre with its sauna, steam room, ice fountain and massages.

From the campsite, you can easily explore the natural beauty and attractions of the South of France. The charming village of Vallon-Pont-d’Arc is about 3 kilometres away. Here, you can stroll past small shops and enjoy a drink on a terrace. The famous Pont d’Arc rock arch is also just a short distance away. Another special day trip is to Grotte Chauvet 2, less than a ten-minute drive away. In this replica cave, you can admire impressive replicas of prehistoric cave paintings.
