Camping De Baalse Hei is a charming and green campground located in cozy Turnhout, Belgium. Here you will find a relaxing oasis for the whole family where you can fish, paddle boats and row and enjoy a refreshing dip in the recreational lake that is exclusively for campsite guests. There is also a restaurant, various sports activities and an extensive entertainment program during the high season.
Although Camping De Baalse Hei does not have a swimming pool, it does offer a large swimming lake with a lovely sandy beach, accessible only to guests of the campground. From the restaurant's sun terrace, parents can keep in touch with their children while they play and swim in the sea. You can also take a pedal boat ride or row on the lake.
On the lake you can also fish and sail. There are several playgrounds, sports fields and an entertainment program for the whole family. The area around the campground is known for its picturesque surroundings and you can explore five nature reserves nearby, including De Kempen.
