Familiepark Klein Strand

At Klein Strand Family Park, the whole family can enjoy some water fun. There’s a sandy beach surrounding the swimming lake, where you can relax in the sun whilst the children build sandcastles. Fancy a bit of action? Challenge each other on the floating obstacle course, go stand-up paddleboarding or whizz across the water on water skis. With a flyboard, you can even hover above the water’s surface. The two water slides also provide plenty of fun. In between, you can grab a cool drink at the beach bar by the lake. The little ones can splash about in the marked-out, shallow paddling pool on the campsite.

At Familiepark Klein Strand, you can enjoy a day packed with activities. The entertainment team and the kids’ club organise games and fun for the children all week long. Play a game of pétanque together, cast your line in the peaceful fishing lake or let the children climb and scramble in the playgrounds scattered across the site. Don’t feel like cooking? Pop into one of the two restaurants. During the high season, you can pick up groceries and treats at the campsite shop.

Just a 15-minute drive from the campsite, you’ll discover medieval Bruges. Take a boat trip along the canals, admire the historic buildings and sample Belgian chocolate at one of the chocolate shops. Prefer the seaside? In Ostend, you can stroll along the North Sea and enjoy fresh fish on the promenade. It’s also easy to set off from the campsite: follow a walking or cycling route through the Flemish countryside or plan a day trip to Ghent or the Westhoek. Boudewijn Seapark near Bruges also offers fun for the whole family, with marine mammals and water activities.
