The terraced campsite Castell Montgri is situated near the resort of L’Estartit on the lively Costa Brava. Camping Castell Montgri is a large campsite with lots of facilities, making this an ideal holiday destination.

Swimming facilities at Camping Castell Montgri

Camping Castell Montgri has 3 swimming pools and a children’s pool. There are swimming pools for relaxation, and for those seeking more adventure, there are a few slides! The Ombra pool has a couple of slides and is situated on the lower part of the campsite. On the middle part of the campsite is the larger infinity pool, Panorama, which offers stunning views of the Spanish countryside. There you can dive into entertainment with their foam parties and pool parties, or simply relax with a drink while enjoying the sun. At the top of the campsite is the ‘La Basse’ swimming pool which also has fantastic views and a bar serving drinks and snacks.  

The campsite and facilities at Camping Castell Montgri

Camping Castell Montgri has a wide range of shops and services on the campsite, including a crêperie, a restaurant and a snack bar/takeaway. There are also 3 bars, an internet cafe, a souvenir shop and a supermarket. The outdoor cinema is great for the whole family and older teenagers (16+) have the L’Arada disco to entertain them. For those looking for some sporting activity, the two tennis courts are situated on the panorama part of the campsite.

There is a lovely walking trail around the La Basse Pool on the top of the campsite. You can choose to either walk/run a 3km trail or an 8km trail. Bikes are not allowed on the trail.

Nearby Camping Castell Montgri

If you fancy some sightseeing for the day then the campsite reception is the place to go for advice and information on the local area. The staff here can also book you onto excursions to places like Barcelona. Children will be thrilled with a day out to one of the water parks in the area!  In high season there is a shuttle bus from the campsite to the fishing village of L’Estartit, which has a beautiful, wide sandy beach.

Please note: This campsite is idyllically situated on a hill and is NOT recommended for people with reduced mobility.
The following dog breeds are not allowed: Pitbull, Staffordshire bull terrier, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasileiro, Dogo de Burdeos, Bullmastiff, American Staffordshire Terrier, Rottweiler, Japanese Tosa and Tosa Inu, Doberman, Mastin Napolitano and Presa Canario.
The campsite will be in touch with you directly via email with their own check-in link 2 - 4 weeks before you arrive. This is a required registration with the campsite and is addition to our own pre check-in process. To make your arrival as smooth and quick as possible, and avoid queues at reception, please remember to complete both before you travel.
