Camping Callassande

Callassande is one of the top campsites in the area because of its large water park with multiple pools. The entire family will enjoy slides and the covered kids' play area. There’s ample room for relaxing and sunbathing. You’re also a pleasant stroll away from the beach where you can swim, lounge in the sun or enjoy watersports. The beaches have been awarded a Blue Flag, meaning they are safe and clean.

Callassande boasts many things to keep people all ages entertained, including a playground, ropes course, a skate park, tennis, and bike rental. There’s also basketball, beach volleyball, table tennis, football and bowling green. For refreshments the site has a snack bar with take-away service, as well as a bar for the adults. Self-catering provisions can be purchased at the supermarket.

The site is near many biking trails and you can explore much of the beautiful countryside at a relaxed pace. You’re also close to the Museum Mill, one of many windmills iconic to native to Holland. Meander through the villages of Hoorn and Medemblik to see tulip fields and the Steam Tram Museum. If you want to travel further afield, the many delights of Amsterdam are just an hour away. Outdoor activities around Callantsoog include hiking, biking, and fishing.
