The private beach of the campsite on beautiful Lake Maggiore provides comfortable sunloungers, free of charge for our guests. There are also trees on the beach that provide welcome shade.   

Facilities Camping Okay Lido

Okay Lido is a small sized campsite, and children can play carefree. They will enjoy themselves on the playground, playing soccer or volleyball. The animation team will practise with your kids for the evening shows that are to be performed in the evening when the parents will join in. Every evening there is something going on for both young and old. If you want to bring your boat, there are boating facilities, but don't forget to reserve a bouy beforehand. There is a small bakery on the campsite, a larger supermarket can be found at 2 km.


Places to visit around camping Okay Lido

Camping Okay Lido is a perfect startingpoint for a visit to the mondaine city of Milan. Of course you will visit the Borromeo Island, situated in the middle of Lake Maggiore. Just above the village of Arona you will find the statue of Sancarlone, measuring up to 35 mtrs in height. You can reach the top of the statue by climbing the stairs and watch the scenery through the eyes of Sancarlone. Do you want more nature? In the surrounding mountains, superb hiking tours can be made. Close to the campsite is Rocca di Angera, where you will find a medieval fortress with a doll museum.

Mobile home very well equipped
directly on the lake
Lots and lots of caterpillars. It was therefore not possible to stay on the beautiful veranda.
Pool was already closed on arrival. No information about this in advance
Resort looks unkempt. Broken glass on the beach, broken sunbeds and playground equipment are a no-go

The staff were very friendly and check-in was straightforward. The mobile home was very nice and well equipped and also cleaned, with an actually great veranda with lounge and dining table. But you couldn't enjoy the veranda as there were thousands and thousands (no exaggeration) of caterpillars. You couldn't sit outside, you couldn't lie down, you couldn't eat. The critters crawled up on you, dropped from above, you couldn't leave anything outside either. It was really disgusting and not relaxing. That's why I left early. You can at least defend yourself against the many mosquitoes with sprays, but there's little the operator can do.
