The water park of Camping Le Soleil de la Mediterranée was redesigned in 2019. There is something for everyone here: giant slides, paddling pool for the little ones, indoor pool when the weather is not so good and a fun lazy river. You won't get bored easily here. In July and August the campsite is lively, and many sports tournaments are organised, such as beach volleyball, beach football, water polo, soccer and the famous French pétanque. For those who have always wanted to feel like Wilhelm Tell, try out your archery skills here. If you prefer to wake up dancing, visit the zumba lessons. Or explore the surroundings on a rental bike from the campsite. The children would rather be in the kid's club (6-10 years), the playground or play a game of soccer with their new camping friends on the multi-sports ground. And in the evening there are foam parties, shows or a nice evening market. The completely renovated restaurant is the perfect place for a nice meal.
Surroundings of Camping Le Soleil de la Mediterranée
Want to see something of the area? Then go to the town of Elne. Just 5 minutes drive from the campsite you will find a beautiful monastery. Nice and cool in the summer! For even more culture visit the palace of the kings of Majorca from the 13th century. You do not have to go all the way to Mallorca, because this palace is only a 20-minute drive away in Perpignan. A beautiful castle, the Chateau de Salses, is 35 minutes drive away, you can walk around it or look inside. After all these cultural things you will probably do the children a favour with a visit to Aqualand, 5 minutes from the campsite. Also fun for children is a visit to the Turtle Valley (la Vallée des Tortues) in Sorrède 35 minutes drive away.
