Outdoor adventure at Lac de Serre-Ponçon
With stunning panoramic views over the turquoise waters of Lac de Serre-Ponçon, camping Baie de la Chapelle offers cool outdoor activities. Think swimming, playing in a large water splash aqua park, hiking, canoeing, rowing, sailing, fishing, paragliding, rock climbing and, last but not least, discovering the medieval town of Embrun.
Swimming facilities at camping Baie de la Chapelle
Camping Baie de la Chapelle is a quiet campsite with nice shady spots. There is no pool at the campsite, but that doesn't matter because you'll find a lovely lake with all kinds of opportunities to have fun in the water and relax on the beach. A little further away is a large inflatable aqua park on the water, which is open from late June to early September.
Facilities at La Baie de la Chapelle
There is a wide range of sports facilities at the campground with a multi-sport court, table tennis, volleyball, mini golf and bocce. In addition, children can have hours of fun in the mini-club or playground. There is a small snack bar at the campground where drinks and ice cream are available. A supermarket, restaurants and other stores can be found in the town of Chorges, which is about 5 kilometers from the campground.
Near Camping Baie de la Chapelle
In this beautiful area, Chorges lets you indulge in experiences on land and on water. Discover the pristine and protected nature of the Parc des Ecrins, reflected in the clear waters of Lake Serre-Ponçon. As you explore the lake, stop at the dam. You can also visit the medieval town of Embrun and Boscodon Abbey.
