From the park, you can drive to some wonderful day-out destinations in no time at all. Pay a visit to the medieval centre of Sarzana with its charming streets and ancient fortress. The famous, colourful villages of the Cinque Terre are also nearby and easily accessible by train or boat. Would you rather get out into nature? Take a walk through the Montemarcello-Magra Regional Nature Park or visit the beaches of Lerici and Portovenere. This makes the area a lovely base for a wonderful family holiday.
