Swimming can of course not be missed during a luxurious camping holiday. Throughout the entire year you can enjoy a 32 feet, heated indoor swimmingpool or an outdoor swimming pool double that size. The outdoor swimmingpool is the perfect way to cool down after a visit in the sauna. You can visit one at camping Markgrafenheid. Near the swimmingpool you can relax in the sunbathing area.

The children can enjoy the playground at the camping site. An animationteam will organise fun activities for the kids, starting half July until half August. Every Wednesday has a kid’s disco and the other guests can enjoy live music on saterday evenings. Several sports can be practiced, such as squash, tennis, miniature golf or you can play a game of chess with the outdoor chess game. Rent bikes for a bike ride in the area and get meals in the local restaurant, pizzaria, snackbar, cocktailbar or one of the many beach bars.

The Hansesail takes place every second weekend of August. You can watch more than 300 old or new sailing boats and enjoy several activities near the water. Climbing forest Hohe Düne is a feast for anyone who loves climbing in the woods. A visit to the zoo of Rostock is also a possibility.
